For me, self-love begins in the quiet moments of my morning. With a cup of coffee in hand, I step outside with my beloved Maltipoo, Little Bear, soaking in sunlight as I reflect on the day ahead. These small rituals ground me in gratitude and presence.

I maintain focus in my business by keeping an ongoing notebook for meeting notes, event details, and daily to-do lists. Checking off tasks as they’re completed gives me a sense of accomplishment and momentum.

Movement is another cornerstone of my self-love practice. I walk daily, flow through yoga poses, and nourish my body with a whole-food, plant-based diet. Staying hydrated with filtered water and taking whole food supplements are non-negotiables.

Mindset is equally important. I find inspiration in memes and weekly share “Oneness Inspiration” posts on social media, reflecting on my journey of awakening and the gratitude I feel for life’s lessons.

Health Maintenance and Alternative Therapies

I work with a therapist weekly, use my insurance to access healthcare, and take advantage of covered ancillary services like acupuncture and chiropractic care. Prevention is key—I also receive massage and craniosacral therapy to maintain my health.

Morning and Evening Rituals

Morning rituals like dry brushing, using non-toxic beauty products, and practicing facial yoga prepare me for the day, while evening rituals like journaling, CBD for relaxation, and progressive muscle relaxation help me unwind. These routines are acts of love that honor my body, mind, and soul.

Boundaries and Emotional Wellness

Learning to stand up for myself has been transformative. I no longer allow others to gaslight or abuse me and have become adept at recognizing red and green flags in relationships. Surrounding myself with positive, uplifting people fuels my spirit.

The Inner Peace of Self-Love

Self-love is about more than self-care—it’s a commitment to honoring your worth, protecting your peace, and nurturing your growth. It’s about choosing yourself every day, even when it’s difficult. My mantra, “I take exquisite care of myself,” reminds me that loving myself deeply allows me to show up fully for others and the world.
