Your cage was never made of steel—it was made of thoughts.
For years, I lived inside that invisible structure: beliefs about who I should be, fears disguised as “wisdom,” silence mistaken for “strength.” Those thoughts formed my prison, built from survival and pain, crafted to protect me in rooms that didn’t feel safe.
And yet, as the fire of awakening began to rise within me, I realized that this cage was also my masterpiece. It was my teacher. It was the alchemy of my suffering—the crucible through which Spirit would forge my sovereignty.
The Fire of Awakening
Spiritual awakening isn’t gentle. It’s not the soft glow of candles and mantras—it’s the wildfire that burns illusions to ash. Awakening isn’t cozy; it’s brutal, cleansing, and necessary.
It’s the process of meeting your own shadows—the ones you’ve run from, the pain you’ve suppressed, the ego that made you the enemy in your own story. Carl Jung wrote,
“One does not become enlightened by imagining figures of light, but by making the darkness conscious.”
In those words, I see the truth of my own journey. For decades, I lived in a cycle of suffering—repeating patterns of self-doubt and quiet despair—until the Phoenix within me demanded rebirth.
The Rise of the Phoenix
When everything I thought I was began to crumble, something miraculous happened. I found my light. Not a light I had to earn, chase, or find—it was the light within, the divine spark that had been there all along. An ancient teaching expresses, your spirit already holds the light you are seeking. It is not something you must chase or earn. It is your essence.
This truth became my foundation. When I began to see that every relationship, every heartbreak, every job and business decision had been guided by Spirit all along, I learned to trust.
Aaron Abke, a modern teacher of Christ Consciousness, explains:
“Christ Consciousness is the realization that the same infinite Spirit that lived in Jesus also lives in you. It’s not worshiping the light in another—it’s awakening to the light within yourself.”
That realization shattered the illusion of separation.
The Journey to Oneness
Through polyamory and oneness consciousness, I began to see others as mirrors of my own evolution. Every soul that crossed my path became a reflection of a truth waiting to be remembered. Gratitude became my compass, helping me remain humble and open-hearted.
As Dr. Vandana Shiva teaches,
“We are not atomized individuals; we are one Earth family. Oneness is not uniformity—it is the deep recognition of interconnection.”
This awakening to Oneness changed how I ate, breathed, and lived. I began honoring my body through mindful eating, breathing deeply to regulate my nervous system, and allowing gratitude to expand my awareness.
Every breath became a prayer. Every thought, an act of creation. Every choice, an offering to Spirit.
The Sovereign Self
To be sovereign is to stand in your sacred authority—fully aligned with your divine will, free from fear, shame, and dependency. It is to know that your words and actions are holy.
Eckhart Tolle writes,
“Awakening is not changing who you are, but discarding who you are not.”
In this remembrance, I have become both fire and light. The Phoenix and the flame. I bless the ashes of who I was—the woman who played small to survive—and I honor the woman rising now, who trusts her intuition, who moves love energy like breath, who speaks with divine authority, and who walks as a multidimensional being in service to humanity’s awakening.
The Light Within
Your spirit already holds the light you seek. It is not found in others—it is remembered in yourself. It is not earned—it is revealed through surrender. When the world feels dark, breathe and whisper: “I am light. I am safe. I am whole.” Let these words awaken what has always been within you.
Allow your inner flame to grow brighter with every breath. Because you, too, are rising. You are the Phoenix. You are the sovereign flame.
