Beyond the Human Condition: Walking the Path of Higher Awareness

by Stephanie Bucklin

At twenty-three, I experienced my first glimpse of enlightenment. It was as if the veil lifted, revealing a truth so vast that my life would never be the same. From that moment forward, I knew my journey was not just about personal awakening – it was about guiding others toward their own remembrance of divinity. That is the Bodhisattva path: awakening not for the sake of self alone, but so that all beings may be free.

The Human Condition as a Sacred Agreement

Saint Germain once shared through channeling: “You often talk about the human condition as if it were the truth of your existence. I’m telling you: it’s a piece of clothing you have chosen to wear, a suit in a tracksuit. You’re not human at the core. You are consciousness itself, eternal and luminous, exploring a human play among many other games.”

This metaphor beautifully captures the paradox we live in. The human experience is real, yet it is also a role we have chosen to play. Hunger, desire, fear, and even death – all are conditions of the play. They are not the essence of who we are, but the stage upon which consciousness dances.

Buddha reminded us of this truth centuries ago: “Form is emptiness, emptiness is form.” What we perceive as solid and permanent is simply a momentary expression of the infinite. To cling to the costume is to forget the actor.

Remembering Ourselves as Source

To awaken is not to reject our humanity – it is to see through it. The longing for love, nourishment, and approval are but shadows of the completeness that is already within us. As Rumi wrote, “You are not a drop in the ocean. You are the entire ocean in a drop.”

When we rest in this awareness, life becomes less about striving and more about remembering. We stop reaching outward in desperation and instead turn inward to the river of Spirit that flows endlessly. We realize, as Saint Germain says, “Independence is not isolation, it is dominance… the instant knowledge that you are whole, complete and eternally supplied.”

Walking the Path of Enlightenment

My awakening led me into a lifelong devotion to helping others awaken. Each encounter with a client, student, or seeker is another opportunity to mirror the truth: you are Source in human form.

Enlightenment is not an escape from life. It is the full embrace of it, without fear of loss. Thich Nhat Hanh wrote: “Enlightenment is when a wave realizes it is the ocean.” Once you see yourself as the ocean, no storm can unsettle your essence.

The Bodhisattva vow calls us to carry this awareness not as a private treasure, but as a beacon for others still lost in the dream of separation. In this way, enlightenment is not an ending but a beginning – an invitation to serve with compassion, wisdom, and unwavering love.

Living Beyond Fear

Sickness, aging, and death (the inevitabilities of the human story) become less threatening when viewed through the lens of eternity. Time is only a costume, too. As Paramahansa Yogananda said: “You are not your body; you are not your mind; you are the immortal Self.”

When we embody this knowing, we can taste the gifts of the human condition—love, beauty, connection—without being bound by them. We love without losing. We live without fear.

A Call to Remember

Beloved ones, the path of higher awareness is not about transcending life but about walking through it with clear eyes and an open heart. Whenever your mind whispers, “I need this,” pause, breathe, and remember the truth: “I am Source, I am whole.”

The human condition is the canvas. You are the eternal artist. Let us paint together a life of freedom, love, and luminous remembrance.

Namaste,

~S
